In fact, the braces' mechanism of action is not simply the force of pulling the erupted teeth into position, but a chain reaction, including the "dissolving" of the jawbone.

Deviated teeth not only cause loss of aesthetics, but also can lead to many periodontal problems such as cavities, gingivitis and even damage to neighboring teeth. Braces are one of the most effective solutions to correct deviated teeth, put them in the correct order, thereby giving us a beautiful and healthy teeth.

In fact, not many people really understand how the braces put teeth in the right orbit. Moving a tooth is not simply a matter of continuously applying force to straighten it, like we do a piece of steel, because each tooth has a foot section deep into the jawbone.

This process actually happens as follows: The first step of the brace, when tightened, puts pressure on the gums. This pressure interferes with the flow of blood to the gum tissues that encase the teeth. Without a supply of blood, these tissues of course begin to die. This is also what dentists look forward to when performing your braces.

It is important to know that our immune system works very effectively and in a timely manner. Wherever the body becomes infected or damaged, immune cells are immediately present. In this case, the body sends out an army of special cells called Osteoclasts that are tasked with relieving the pressure on the gums to restore blood flow. The solution that Osteoclasts applies is to absorb calcium from the jawbone near the position of compression, literally dissolving the jawbone. As a result, a hole in the jawbone is created and the tooth can be easily moved through under the braces.

At the same time, the gum tissue is re-pumped to regenerate and continue the task between rooting. Those who are in the braces stage will also be periodically checked by their doctor for proper adjustments to help the teeth return to the correct position!
